WHO: Global coronavirus cases top 700,000
The number of COVID-19 infections globally has increased to 719,700 as of early Tuesday, according to the situation update by the World Health Organization (WHO).
A total of 33,673 people died from COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, according to WHO.
Outside China, nearly 640,000 cases have been reported by more than 200 countries and regions, including 10 countries that see over 10,000 cases.
