Rwanda’s Private Sector Federation (PSF) announced Thursday that it had postponed this year’s annual international trade fair from July to December due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The trade fair which had been scheduled to take place from July 21 to Aug.10 at Gikondo Expo Grounds in the capital Kigali has been postponed to Dec. 11 to Dec. 31, 2020 due to COVID-19 which has disrupted different sectors, including movement of international exhibitors, PSF said in a statement.

The annual Rwanda International Trade Fair last year attracted more than 450 exhibitors from a wide range of sectors from Africa, Europe and Asia.

The exhibition is co-organized by PSF and the Rwandan Ministry of Trade and Industry, with about 30,000 daily guests visiting the exhibition.
